“What I Did”  
My research partner and I aimed to identify the gene expression of Vha16-1 throughout the drosophila melanogaster midgut, specifically it’s role in the copper region and phagosome pathway.

“How You Can Help”  
How you can help is how to relate other metabolic processes with the human gene we found as the ortholog to Vha16-1. Our favorite part of this research had to be reading through scientific articles that worked with our gene.
