What I did**
Me and my group investigated how specific genes (white, vermillion, Speck, and Ddc) involved in the tryptophan-kynurenine pathway affect aging and metabolism in different regions of the Drosophila melanogaster midgut.
How you can help
I encountered gaps in linking specific gene expressions directly to lifespan effects, but my favorite part was visualizing gene activity data clearly using SciServer.
