Create an introductory post
Create this post in either this general category or your class specific category (if applicable):
- Your name
- Your institution
- 1-2 things from the list below:
- Your major
- Any previous research experience
- A hobby of yours
- Something you’re looking forward to learning
- Why you’re interested in biology and/or research
- Something you saw recently that made you feel curious
Check your notification preferences.
By default we’ve set you to receive emails whenever a new topic is posted in the following categories, and you will also receive an email when someone @you or replies to you.
- Announcements
- Your class group (if applicable)
- Your C-MOOR Scholars group (if applicable)
You will also receive a summary email of new activity from popular topics every hour.
To change your notification preferences, enter your preferences settings by clicking on your icon in the top right corner of the screen, then clicking the image of the person and selecting preferences (gear icon).
To change the frequency of emails, go to preferences > emails.
To change what topics you want to get emails about, go to preferences > tracking
